My desk this weekend.
The first painting is not by me. It was my father's house in Africa, painted by his friend.
Beautiful, thick stabbing brushstrokes.
I can't believe that I have let it gather dust in a box all these years.
I am letting it breathe some air.
The last picture is a monotype of my mother as a young girl - done by me.
Monotype...interesting method. Wonderful performance. And you have your parents worktable, in a way together...
