I think I have passed on my Halloween Gene to my daughter Gigi.
That's me in the third photo.
I definitely don't have the Bride Gene to pass on or the Christmas Gene.
But every October we look forward to letting our inner demonwitchghoulzombiespiritbitchblackswan out.
I think it's the dressing up, which could be blamed on the
Showgirl Gene.

Nice to have the time to go through old sketch books.
And suddenly old ideas are new again.

So lucky to win this from finelittleday.
Too good for wiping dishes though.
Thanks so much again elisabeth. And look, are there little people climbing up the biggest mountain?

Hung some of my oils. Need to paint more.

Sunday afternoon visiting, and a gift for Gigi.
She was named after this musical
And also because of the ballet Giselle, which is also my mother's middle name.
With this name she follows in the dancing footsteps of Leslie Caron and Audrey Hepburn.
All three are devine showgirl beauties.

A blossoming Queen of many Hearts.
And the elegant Queen Mother, carrier of the polka dot tarts.

What I saw as soon as I opened my eyes this morning.
And what I listened to.
