  1. Scary. And a weird feeling to find the paintings beautiful. Knowing that they show something awful.

  3. Dear Jasmin,
'Tsunami' is a japanese word, means 'wave of harbor'...
I'm afraid of the possibility of nuclear catastrophe. Do you hear/read something about that in Australia?

    Love,
    Ariane.

  5. the kids and i spent the afternoon at the art museum yesterday and walked through an exhibit of zen art. it was a fitting thing to do in honor of our Japanese friends. A people so full of life, humor, discipline, and peace.
thank you for sharing Hokusai's wave.

  6. Such a beautiful, iconic image.

Much easier to make sense of than the constant images of devastation we are all seeing at the moment. So hard to comprehend and to really take in and feel.
